Beth Bando Bontley, has honed her skills over the decades in all areas of theater. She has acted in NYC and in Boston, where she established her first acting studio. Local performance fav’s include Fefu and Her Friends, Echo Theater; The Women, Theater 3; Memory of Water, Circle Theater; Cabaret, Runway Theater; Steel Magnolias, Artisan Theater. Awards include: Best Supporting Actress & Ensemble, Memory of Water; Best Set Design, Don’t Drink the Water, Bedford on Stage; and Best Actress, FT. Worth Weekly, 2001.
Her original one woman show, ‘Acet-o-philous or Vinegar Love’ has been performed at Arts 5th Ave, the United Solo Festival in NYC and at the Ft. Worth Fringe Festival. She is also an author and a speaker, devoted to personal and artistic growth.
Beth earned her BA in Speech and Drama at Trinity University; completed the two year conservatory at Circle in the Square in NYC; and earned her MFA in Interdisciplinary Arts from Goddard College. She has taught at TCU, TCC, Dallas Children’s Theater, Kids Who Care and Dallas Summer Musicals.
Currently Beth teaches at STAGE and is the Education Director at Stage West Theatre.
